Ron is a Certified Financial Planner™ who joined W.B. Smith Companies in 2004. Prior to joining the Firm he served as Director of Financial Services and Financial Planning with Patterson & Gerry CPA’s and Nash & Co. CPAs. Previous experience also included financial planning positions with Allmerica Financial and CIGNA Financial. Through his company, Blackstone Valley College Funding, an affiliate under the umbrella of the WB Smith Companies, Ron specializes as a College Funding Advisor. In addition, Ron directs his expertise in the realm of comprehensive financial planning, retirement, estate and business succession planning. He earned his B.A. from the University of Michigan and has completed M.B.A. level coursework at the University of Detroit. Ron is very active in his community, including work with children and young adults. He spends considerable time as a baseball, softball and soccer coach and loves to ski. Ron is married with two children.
